"ArcheoBlitz" 2016 at the Knife River Indian Village National Historic Site

The first ever "ArcheoBlitz" was undertaken within the Northern Plains National Heritage Area at the Knife River Indian Village National Historic Site. The documentary short is below from the May 5-7, 2016 events. 

Archaeology at Chief Looking Village, Bismarck Parks & Rec District
​Burleigh County, North Dakota

During the summer of 2016, Thunder Revolution Studios documented the archaeological investigation at Chief Looking's Village, one of the 16th century settlements in the Northern Plains National Heritage Area. Check out the video below.

Knife River Indian Village NHS
​Mercer County, North Dakota

In May 2019, the NPNHA partnered with the non-profit Paleo-Cultural Research Group to carry forward an archaeological investigation at Sakakawea Village, Knife River Indian Village National Historic Site.

The Northern Plains National Heritage Area partnered with Thunder Revolution Studios (owned and operated by tribal citizens) to document the Native Voices panel discussion at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park on July 6, 2019.
